BOSTON (AP) - Police in Boston say two separate shootings have left one person dead and two people injured.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 8:40 p.m. Sunday in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood and found two people with gunshot wounds.

Police say they were taken to a hospital where one of the victims was pronounced dead. The other victim suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.



Police say another shooting was reported hours later. One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating whether the shootings are related. The victims’ identities have not been released. No arrests have been made.
