WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police in Wilmington are investigating shootings that left two men injured.

The Wilmington Police Department said the shootings happened late Saturday.

Police say officers were alerted to a shooting victim around 9 p.m. and found a 19-year-old black man who had been shot in the arm. Police say he was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police did not release details on his condition.



Police say about three hours later, officers who were on patrol responded to the sound of gunshots and found a 21-year-old black man who had been shot in the hip. Police say the man was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police say investigations into the shootings are ongoing. They’re asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
