FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Fayetteville police say a man on a motorcycle has died after a collision with a car over the weekend.

A news release says the crash happened Saturday afternoon when a sedan making a left turn was struck by a motorcycle.

The man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified him as 24-year-old Jeremiah Holmes of Fort Bragg.

The Honda sedan had a 51-year-old male driver and two teenage girls. Police said the three had non-life threatening injuries.

The news release says police are continuing to investigate the circumstances and didn’t say whether any charges were expected.
