WEST LINN, Ore. (AP) - Police in Oregon have shot and killed a man.
Authorities say West Linn police at about 10:15 p.m. Friday responded to a report of an armed and suicidal man in the city south of Portland.
Police say the officers confronted a male with a firearm who was subsequently shot by one of the West Linn officers.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
The officers involved have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard policy.
