SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Seismologists say a minor earthquake shook an area in southeastern Utah late Friday night but no damage or injury was reported.

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations said the magnitude 3.8 tremor was centered 13 miles (21 kilometers) west-southwest of Montezuma Creek. The quake at 10:01 p.m. MDT was reported felt 19 miles (31 kilometers) south of Blanding.

The quake’s epicenter was within a few miles of a magnitude 3.7 tremor in June 2008.
