Authorities say body found in Lake Conway may be missing man

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a body found in Lake Conway may be that of a man missing for more than a week.

Faulkner County Chief Deputy Matt Rice told reporters the body was found Saturday by a fisherman on the lake south of Conway and may be that of 49-year-old Larry Brownson II.

Authorities say Brownson was last seen March 24 in an area not far from where the body was found.

The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for positive identification and to determine the cause of death.
