LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (AP) - A woman has been charged with driving under the influence after South Carolina authorities say she struck a motorcyclist who died at the scene.
News outlets report that South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers say 52-year-old Catherine Crumley of West Columbia struck 65-year-old Larry Edgar Williams’ motorcycle head-on Sunday morning.
Crumley was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was later arrested. It’s unclear if she has a lawyer.
The case remains under investigation.
