Police investigate death of 35-year-old man at motel

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Fairbanks police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old man whose body was found in a motel.

Police say the man’s body was discovered shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday in the Alaska Motor Inn after officers were called to investigate a report of a dead man in the building.

Police say the man was found at the bottom of an internal stairway. The man was declared dead at the scene.
