SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah police are searching for a driver who struck a woman with a car in a Mormon church parking lot, breaking both her legs.
Authorities said Wednesday that Eileen Grace was walking in Salt Lake City over the weekend when she confronted a woman about 35 to 40 years old who had parked in a handicapped parking spot.
The woman got in her car and followed Grace into a nearby Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints parking lot, where she threw a drink on her and then hit her with her car.
Police say they are asking the public for help locating the suspect, who was driving in a pearl-colored Cadillac Escalade.
KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2o7d2vL) that the April 2 incident left Grace in surgery for 10 hours, along with a five-night hospital stay.
