DADE CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man is dead following a house fire north of Tampa.
Pasco County Fire Rescue Division Chief Shawn Whited said in a news release that the fire broke out early Wednesday in a single story home.
When fire crews arrived, they found two occupants outside the home and were told a 67-year-old man was still inside.
Whited says firefighters found the man in a back bedroom. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
No firefighters were injured.
