TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - U.S. Forest Service officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a man they suspect started a brush fire that closed a section of the Catalina Highway that leads to Mount Lemmon in Tucson.
The fire was reported April 4 and burned about 50 acres (20.23 hectares).
Officials suspect the blaze was related to recreational shooting in the area.
The Forest Service says in a Monday news release that the person of interest was described as a tall man with a muscular build. He was last seen heading toward a forest green Ford Explorer.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Coronado National Forest Supervisor’s Office.
