LACEY, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say an elderly couple died in an apparent murder-suicide near Olympia.
The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that deputies were called to a home east of Lacey, Washington Monday at about noon.
Deputies found a woman and man in their 80s dead inside the home.
Authorities say based on evidence, it appears the man shot his wife and then shot himself.
Family members told police the woman had “significant medical history.”
The sheriff’s office isn’t looking for suspects.
