PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a woman was killed and a man critically injured in a double stabbing in a northeast Philadelphia home.
Officers and emergency responders were called to the residence in the Point Breeze neighborhood shortly before 4 p.m. Friday and found the 63-year-old woman dead of several stab wounds.
Authorities said the 67-year-old man was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition with stab wound to the neck and chest.
Capt. Michael O’Donnell said both weapons used in the stabbings were recovered at the scene. Police said there was no evidence anyone had broken into the home.
