CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - The supervisor of Death Valley National Park is visiting Clemson University to see what the other Death Valley looks like.
The school announced that Mike Reynolds is visiting campus on Friday. Among his stops is Memorial Stadium, which is also known as Death Valley.
Reynolds will speak to students and faculty and will also attend Saturday’s football game between Clemson and the University of Louisville. During the game, a video commemorating the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service will be shown on the stadium video board.
Reynolds says he often has visitors at Death Valley who mention having visited the Clemson stadium.
Reynolds has been superintendent of Death Valley National Park since May 2015. He manages a staff of 125 full-time employees and a budget of $9 million.
