OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Officials have lifted a statewide ban on outdoor burning on state-managed lands across Washington.
However, the Department of Natural Resources said Friday that some restrictions remain in place for parts of northeast Washington and will continue through early October. Pile burning is prohibited in counties, including Ferry, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane and Stevens.
Individual campgrounds may continue to prohibit campfire burns.
