PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police searched an apartment complex but didn’t find suspects in a fatal shooting at a nearby convenience store.
Sgt. Mercedes Fortune says officers found illegal drugs inside the vehicle of the man who was shot Thursday night.
Fortune says witnesses told officers that suspects in the shooting went to the nearby apartment complex.
The incident occurred near West Union Hills and North 43rd avenues.
