ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Orangeburg County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men in the shooting death of a man earlier this week.
The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg (https://bit.ly/2dB6h5v) reported that deputies were called to a reporting of shots fired Tuesday afternoon and found Elton Lambright unresponsive near a vehicle.
Lambright was taken to the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg where he later died.
Two men have been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Thirty-one-year-old Antonio Jarred Aiken of St. Matthews and 26-year-old Deshawn Lamar Rogers of Orangeburg are being held in the Orangeburg County jail.
The men do not yet have attorneys and have asked for a public defender.
