SALINA, N.Y. (AP) - Two men have been accused of shooting a central New York teenager to death on Interstate 81.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that 30-year-old Maurice Files and 26-year-old Daquan Grobsmith of Syracuse have been charged with murdering Dion Givens in early September.

Police say the 18-year-old Givens was riding in a car on the four-lane highway in northern Syracuse when he was shot by people riding in another vehicle. He died a short while later at a hospital.

The suspects were arraigned Wednesday night and are being held without bail in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
