ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man with a criminal history has been convicted in a string of armed robberies in the city.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2cYeQCw ) reports that a jury on Wednesday found 38-year-old James Scott guilty of charges related to three robberies in December 2013 and January 2014. The crimes occurred within a month of his release from prison, where he served time for armed carjackings.
Scott was originally charged in at least two other armed robberies but prosecutors dropped those charges.
An accomplice who admitted to participating in two of the robberies was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Sentencing for Scott is Nov. 21.
