PHOENIX (AP) - Police say two 17-year-old boys have been arrested for allegedly robbing several Phoenix restaurants at gunpoint while wearing masks.
They say one teen wore a luchador-style wrestling mask during a Sept. 22 robbery of a Domino’s Pizza and the armed robberies of a Taco Bell and another Domino’s several miles apart Tuesday night while wearing a clown mask.
Police say the other teenager wore a bandana with a skull print in the Sept. 13 armed robbery of a different Taco Bell.
They say that teen also was the driver for the other suspect in Tuesday’s armed robberies.
Police say one boy was arrested Wednesday and found to be in possession of evidence from the robberies. That led authorities to the other suspect.
Their names were being withheld by police Thursday.
