WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia Superior Court is opening a new facility for youth offenders that will serve as an alternative to jail.
The center will host a satellite probation office and cater to youth with charges relating to truancy or who have behavior health challenges.
Superior Court will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new center on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m.
