RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A man has now been charged with murder in Raleigh after a weekend shooting victim died.

Raleigh police said in a statement Monday that 25-year-old Anthony Darius Neal was originally charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a shooting Friday morning.

Police said 23-year-old Travis Malloy died at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh on Monday.



Police say Malloy was inside a minivan when he was shot.

It was not clear if Neal has an attorney yet.
