MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A judge has thrown out a restraining order against a Minnesota blogger who has written about two Lakeville sisters who went missing.
The Washington County judge on Tuesday said the woman who accused Michael Brodkorb of harassment brought the petition in the wrong county.
Brodkorb has been covering the case of Sandra Grazzini-Rucki, who was sentenced last week for hiding her two daughters for more than two years.
Grazzini-Rucki filed a restraining order petition against Brodkorb, claiming he had followed her and intimidated her. In her petition, Grazzini-Rucki listed her home address as the Stillwater business address of her attorney, Michelle MacDonald.
Judge John McBride granted the order. But the Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/2cB91yM ) reports after a hearing, McBride threw out the order, saying Brodkorb did not live in Washington County.
