HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - The Clark County coroner’s office has identified a woman who was fatally stabbed in a Henderson home.

Officials say 30-year-old Amanda Kaplan died Saturday after being stabbed in the chest. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Amanda Kaplan’s husband, Michael Kaplan, was booked Saturday on one count of open murder in connection to the stabbing.

Authorities say they received a 911 Saturday reporting that someone at the home needed emergency medical attention.

Responding officers found Amanda Kaplan dead at the scene.

Three children ages 7, 3 and 3 months, were in the home. They are now in the care of Child Protective Services.
