SAN ANTONIO (AP) - The bodies of three men, each apparently with gunshot wounds, have been found in an apartment in northern San Antonio.
Police Chief William McManus said a passer-by reported seeing two bodies on the apartment floor by peering through a closed sliding glass door. Officers and paramedics arrived at the apartment complex about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and found a third body.
McManus said all appeared to have been dead since around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and that the killings appeared to be targeted and not a random act. Officers withdrew from the apartment until they could obtain a search warrant.
There was no word as to whether police determined a killer was on the loose or was among the dead.
