Police identify man, 19, shot and killed in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Police in Montgomery have identified the victim of a deadly weekend shooting as 19-year-old Zhivago Hines of Montgomery.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (https://on.mgmadv.com/2dckuUO) that police began a homicide investigation Sunday after Hines died of his injuries from a Saturday shooting.

Montgomery police Capt. Zedrick Dean tells the newspaper that police and medics found Hines wounded late Saturday night after receiving a call that someone had been shot. He was later pronounced dead.

Police made no immediate arrests in the killing.
