SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body in a wooded area in South Burlington.

Police say a neighbor on Monday reported an odor of leaking gas. The gas company responded and found the body off Patchen Road.

Police have not yet identified the deceased.

Police Chief Trevor Whipple says there was no indication of a struggle in the woods.

He says police found evidence of drug use nearby.
