PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - Police say a man was killed in a car crash in Pawtucket overnight.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2d80iSk) it happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday when the car struck a tree.

Police say the driver, a 23-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.



No other injuries were reported. Police haven’t released the man’s name.
