LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a Las Vegas man who was struck while riding a bicycle has died.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Vincent Foster succumbed to his injuries at a hospital Friday.
According to investigators, a taxi cab near the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Mel Torme Way was following a green light Thursday night when Foster rode into its path, despite having the “no walk” signal.
The ensuing collision caused Foster to be thrown from his bicycle and suffer critical injuries.
Troopers say the taxi driver, who had no passengers with him, remained at the scene and was cooperative.
He was not issued a citation.
