BAR HARBOR, Maine (AP) - Acadia National Park wants visitors to come out and see the stars.
The park is hosting the Star Party on Cadillac Mountain on Saturday night.
A free shuttle will take stargazers from Mount Desert Island High School to the mountain, where they will visit with more than 50 astronomers who will describe constellations and night sky features.
Stars will be visible by naked eye, binoculars and telescopes. Participants will also be able to explore the summit of Cadillac Mountain.
The star party is part of the 8th Annual Acadia Night Sky Festival. The best time to view stars will be after 9 p.m.
