YEADON, Pa. (AP) - Police say they have a new person of interest in the killing of a woman found with her throat slashed near her friend’s suburban Philadelphia home.
Police say the body of 32-year-old Natasha Gibson was discovered early Thursday feet from the front door of her friend’s home in Yeadon.
Police say the suspect, who fled the scene, suffered a hand or arm wound during the incident.
A blood trail led police to Philadelphia, where they found a knife in a sewer.
Police initially named her boyfriend Mark Epps as a person of interest, but he has since been cleared after what they’re calling a lengthy interview and investigation.
On Friday investigators released video footage of a man they are hoping to question.
