DENVER (AP) - Prosecutors have charged a man with first-degree murder after a burning body was found along the side of a road in northeast Denver.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/Lztcey ) 22-year-old Delshon Giles is charged in the July 23 death of 39-year-old Walter Bracken. Investigators say Giles killed Bracken during an argument and fled to Los Angeles, where he was arrested.

Denver’s coroner determined that Bracken died from “blunt-force injuries and sharp-force injuries.”

Prosecutors also charged Giles with second-degree arson for allegedly setting fire to the home where Bracken is believed to have been killed.

It’s unclear when Giles will appear before a judge in Colorado.
