AUSTIN, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say two southern Indiana teenagers are dead and a third injured after a one-car crash.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Department told WHAS-TV (https://bit.ly/2cr47iL ) that 18-year-old Jacob Justice of Scottsburg was thrown from the 2005 Cadillac he was driving and killed when it crashed in Austin. A passenger, 16-year-old Cameron Prestegui, also died. A second passenger, 17-year-old Jonathan Brown of Austin, was taken to an area hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.



All three are students at Austin High School. Austin is about 40 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky.

Authorities say grief counselors are at the school.
