Hillary Clinton plans to return to the campaign trail Thursday with a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, after taking three days off to recover from pneumonia, according to her campaign.

The campaign said details about the time and location of the rally would be announced later.

The Democratic presidential nominee has been recuperating at her home in Chappaqua, New York, after suffering a medical episode Sunday in which she nearly collapsed as she was whisked out early from a 9/11 memorial event in Manhattan.

After initially downplaying the incident, the campaign acknowledged that Mrs. Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier.

Clinton Campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said that Mrs. Clinton rested on Tuesday and watched TV coverage of President Obama stumping for her in Philadelphia.

“She has spent the day catching up on reading briefings, making calls, and she watched President Obama’s speech in Philadelphia on TV,” he told CNN.

The incident raised new concerns about Mrs. Clinton’s health, which has been the topic of speculation since a 2012 fall in which she suffered a concussion and developed a blood clot in her brain.

Polls show that her near-collapse Sunday, which was caught on video, has made Mrs. Clinton’s health a campaign issue.

The Clinton campaign said that more medical records would be released and that they would not show any severe conditions.

Mrs. Clinton’s personal physician, who was traveling with her at the 9/11 memorial event, has attested to the candidate’s general good health.
