BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s Centers of Excellence Commission recently awarded nearly $1.6 million in research grants.

The money is going to departments and offices at North Dakota State University in Fargo and the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.

Research topics include fattening hogs for market, cloud seeding, dust suppression on gravel roads and bone tissue regeneration.



The grants were doled out in three programs aimed at boosting research and technology partnerships involving industry and universities.
