TYNGSBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Police are investigating multiple vehicle fires in a Massachusetts town along the New Hampshire state line.

Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe said the department began receiving 911 calls about the fires at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

A fire burned two scooters in the driveway of a home then spread to two other vehicles. Minutes later, Howe says police received three more calls reporting vehicle fires in the driveways of other homes.

A total of 10 vehicles and one home were damaged in a roughly half hour span. Howe said local and state police, as well as the state fire marshal’s office are investigating.
