ST. LOUIS (AP) - Authorities have identified the woman whose body was found floating in the Mississippi River earlier this week.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2dQVFKS ) reports that the woman was 22-year-old Mansi Flaherty of the House Springs area, south of St. Louis.

An autopsy found no evidence of a homicide but authorities have not released a cause of death and the investigation continues.

The U.S. Coast Guard was contacted Tuesday afternoon about a body in the river near the Poplar Street Bridge. Firefighters pulled the body from the water.
