LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a man killed in a crash in Las Vegas that is believed to have been caused by a drunk driver.

KVVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2dwci1D ) that the Clark County Coroner’s Office says 23-year-old Jose Vargas died as a result of the Saturday crash.

Police say Vargas had been a passenger in a vehicle that struck a concrete barrier.



He was taken to a hospital and later died.

The driver of the vehicle, who police suspect had been under the influence of alcohol, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

An update on the driver’s condition wasn’t available.
