CASCO, Maine (AP) - Authorities in Maine say a corrections officer’s pickup truck was stolen with the officer’s jail uniform and badge inside.
Chief Deputy Naldo Gagnon said Wednesday the truck was unlocked with the keys inside when it was stolen from the officer’s driveway in Casco sometime between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Gagnon says deputies are investigating several other car burglaries in the area, including one involving the theft of a loaded handgun.
