CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A 74-year-old former community center custodian in New Hampshire is out of jail on bail as he awaits trial on multiple charges of sexually assaulting children.
Robert Magoon of Tilton was arrested earlier this year stemming from allegations made by two girls, who said they were groped at the Pines Community Center in Northfield. Prosecutors said the incidents started in 2014. More children came forth and made similar allegations. The girls ranged in age from 7 to 13 at the time of alleged assaults.
Magoon, a former police officer, worked at Pines for about a decade. He faces 15 charges.
His lawyers had successfully argued for his bail to be reduced from $150,000 to $10,000. The Concord Monitor reports (https://bit.ly/2dRSBPI) bail was posted Sept. 27.
