Female’s body found in apartment complex retention pond

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A body has been found in a retention pond at a Detroit-area apartment complex.

Police say contractors reported seeing the body Wednesday morning at the Oak Hill Apartments in Shelby Township, north of Detroit.

The body is that of a female. Her identification has not been confirmed and a cause of death is under investigation.
