MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Mesa authorities say a 2-year-old boy suffered injuries that reportedly aren’t life-threatening when he fell out of a second-story window.

Police Department spokesman Steve Berry says the boy fell out of an apartment window Wednesday morning after he apparently climbed onto a table and then leaned against a screen which gave way.

Berry says he didn’t have details on the boy’s injuries but said they’re described as not being life-threatening.

Berry says an adult was in the apartment at the time and that there’s no indication wrongdoing.
