1 dead in fire at Temple apartment complex

TEMPLE, Texas (AP) - Officials say one person was found dead as firefighters extinguished a fire at a four-unit apartment complex in Temple.

Temple Fire and Rescue said the fire started early Wednesday morning.

Officials say an autopsy has been ordered on 65-year-old Howard Lee McLin. No one else in the complex was injured.

Officials say the fire marshal is working to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
