Nevada man dies in camper fire near Washoe State Park

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities say a man has died after a camper fire near Nevada’s Washoe State Park.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office tells KOLO-TV (https://bit.ly/2dsMORl ) that the Monday night fire occurred inside a camper shell on a truck parked next to the Washoe State Park office.

The sheriff’s office says the death does not appear to be suspicious and that the fire happened so quickly the man didn’t have time to escape.

The State Fire Marshall is taking over the investigation.
