Police: Woman stabbed boyfriend with bottle during fight

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police in New Orleans have accused a 61-year-old woman of stabbing her boyfriend with a bottle following a fight.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/2f4eImQ ) that police say Sandra Davis was taken into custody Saturday after her boyfriend was stabbed in Algiers. Police say Davis and the man, who hasn’t been identified, were arguing that evening when she stabbed him with a broken bottle.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was in stable condition Sunday. It’s unclear exactly what charges Davis is facing and whether she was an attorney.
