LEADORE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities say a high school teacher in Idaho has died after collapsing during a hike.

KIFI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2erioxU ) that Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office says Madison High School teacher Larry Prescott had difficulty breathing and then collapsed while hiking at Lemhi Range on Saturday.

Authorities say Brigham Young University-Idaho Student Thad Davis was with Prescott and hiked five hours to get cell service and call 911. A search was called off at 10:30 p.m. Saturday because of a snow storm, but crews found Prescott’s body on Sunday morning.
