TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police are investigating after an Uber driver was shot while dropping off passengers.

Police say the driver was shot in the arm early Monday with what appears to be a shotgun. The vehicle was also damaged.

The Uber passenger was not hit.



Police say the Uber driver drove to a convenience store nearby before calling 911. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

One person is in custody in connection to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
