CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the cause of a mobile home fire that killed a man in Charleston.

Fire officials tell local news outlets that firefighters responded about 2:15 p.m. Sunday. While fighting the fire, they found a 71-year-old man unconscious in the home.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.



The name of the victim was not immediately released.

Authorities say the fire apparently started in the kitchen.
