COLONIE, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities report an accident in which a BMW crashed into two cars and then slammed into a restaurant before bursting into flames in upstate New York.
Police say the 2006 BMW went off the road in the town of Colonie at about 11 p.m. Friday, hitting a pickup truck and a 2016 BMW.
They say the force of the crash sent the first BMW beneath the pickup truck and both vehicles then went through the wall of Blessings Tavern.
About 30 people were inside the restaurant. The cook and one patron suffered minor injuries.
Police say the 18-year-old driver of the 2006 BMW and his 16-year-old passenger managed to get out of the burning car. The passenger suffered serious injuries; the driver had non-life threatening injuries.
