EXPERIENCE: Joined the Navy in 2001, became a SEAL officer, wounded in Iraq in 2007; White House fellow, 2005-2006; founded of The Mission Continues nonprofit organization for military veterans in 2007 and served as CEO until 2014; author; motivational speaker.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from University of Missouri-Columbia; law degree from University of Missouri-Columbia; master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
EXPERIENCE: Assistant attorney general, 1991-1993; worked in private legal practice, 1993-1994; Cass County prosecutor, 1995-2005, Missouri Senate, 2005-2009, Attorney General, 2009-present.
